Award-winning wunderkind British designer Benjamin Hubert spun off the classic top when creating two versions of the Spinning Lamp, each as graceful as the original toy. The spun-aluminum piece comes in 9½ or 15¾ inches in diameter, in purple, black, and white.
In his Little People chandelier, Kenneth Cobonpue envisions humans orbiting harmoniously around one incandescent or compact fluorescent bulb. He sculpted them by applying pulped plant matter to recycled metal wire, then powder-coated the combination in brown or six other colors. Dimensions are 23 inches high by 35½ wide or 47¼ inches in diameter.

The 4-inch diameter Topolino pendant takes inspiration from sheets of water cascading in nature. Overlapping 11-inch-tall waves of American art glass encircle an incandescent, compact fluorescent, or halogen source for both damp and dry locations. Chandeliers can be assembled using up to nine Topolino elements.


The 2-foot cast aluminum Goccia side table lamp comes with its scepter-inspired aluminum body and matching finial painted gold, matte black, dark bronze, Aged Bronzed, white gold, Antique Gold, or Antique Silver. Premium leafed finishes are also available. Meanwhile, the linen shade softens illumination from a 60-watt bulb.
